The Dark Forest is a place of mystery, a place of magic. Beneathe the emerald foliage, one will find courageous youths, other-wordly elves, and, if the stories be true, perhaps even ancient demons.
Our story is not about youths, elves, or demons. It's about middle-aged sell-swords.
Meet Jelena Ana Vancura, one-time thief, cut-throat, and merchants daughter, and Adrijana Havelka, exile of one of the barbarian tribes. Together, the two weave spells and steel to battle off robbers and protect any who dwell within the forest (and are willing to pay, of course).
